CYCO

Why CYCO

CYCO is built from pharmaceutical grade reagents rather than the agricultural grade salts most nutrient lines use, and that's the whole reason growers pay the premium. In practice it means the solution dissolves clear, leaves nothing behind in your drippers or irrigation lines, and behaves the same way batch after batch. If you've ever had a nutrient line gum up your emitters halfway through flower, that's the problem this range is designed to avoid.

It's made in Australia and formulated to work with hard or soft water without changing your mixing or dosage, which matters more here than most places given the gap between Melbourne and Adelaide tap water. The same base nutrients run across hydro, coco and soil, with only your EC target changing between them.

Grow A&B and Bloom A&B are the backbone of the system and genuinely enough on their own for a full cycle. Everything else solves a specific problem, Ryzofuel and B1 Boost for root development, Zyme and Kleanse for root zone and salt management, Swell and Suga Rush in the back half of flower, Silica for stress and cell wall strength. If you're starting out, run the base nutrients clean for a cycle before adding anything, otherwise you'll never know which additive actually helped.

Add Part A to your reservoir first and circulate it before adding Part B. Never mix the two in concentrated form, the calcium in A reacts with the sulphates and phosphates in B and precipitates out as a solid you can't redissolve.

Not sure what your plant actually needs? Our free diagnostic tool takes your pH, EC and symptoms and tells you what to address first, no signup or email required. Our nutrient lockout guide is also worth reading before you buy an additive, since most of what looks like a deficiency turns out to be pH blocking uptake.

The 1L and 5L sizes ship at standard rates and can qualify for free shipping. The 20L sizes are genuinely heavy, a single 20L is 23kg and a 20L A&B set is 46kg, so those trigger a freight quote at checkout rather than a flat rate. We come back to you within 24 hours with the actual cost before anything is charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does pharmaceutical grade actually mean in a nutrient?
It's the purity class of the raw reagents. Pharmaceutical grade carries far fewer contaminants and heavy metals than agricultural grade, which is what most nutrient brands use. The practical difference is a solution that dissolves clear and doesn't leave residue in your lines.

Which CYCO products should I start with?
Grow A&B and Bloom A&B, and nothing else. Run those clean for a cycle first. Additives solve specific problems, and adding six at once makes it impossible to tell which one did anything.

Do I need to change my mixing for hard Australian water?
No, the formulations handle hard and soft water without adjustment. Worth testing your source water anyway though, since hard water carries its own background EC before you've added a single nutrient.

Can I use CYCO in soil as well as hydroponics?
Yes. Soil buffers nutrients so it needs a lower EC than hydro or coco, start at 50 to 70% of the hydroponic dose and adjust based on how the plant responds.

Do CYCO products qualify for free shipping?
Free shipping runs on three tiers to VIC, NSW, QLD, SA and ACT: $150 or more up to 3kg, $250 or more from 3 to 5kg, and $350 or more from 5 to 12kg. A 1L bottle is about 1.2kg, so two or three 1L products can reach the first tier. A single 5L is 5.8kg and a 5L A&B set is 11.6kg, both of which sit in the top tier and need $350. The 20L sizes are 23kg or more and exceed the 12kg limit, so they always ship on a freight quote.

Why is my order over $150 but shipping still isn't free?
Because weight counts as well as spend. Three 1L bottles is about 3.6kg, which moves you into the 3 to 5kg band and needs $250 rather than $150. Your cart shows which rate applies before you pay.
