Growth Technology

The Growth Technology Range

Growth Technology's been making hydroponic nutrients since the 80s, and the range reflects that, it's broad rather than just a base feed. For hydro and soil, GT Optimum Grow & Bloom covers the full cycle as a 2-part system, or GT Iconic Grow & Bloom simplifies it to one bottle per stage. For coco specifically, GT Coco A & B is built with the elevated Cal-Mag coco actually needs.

GT Silica is worth adding early in the cycle, it strengthens cell walls before plants hit the stress of flowering or fruiting, not something you can meaningfully add later. Heading into bloom, GT Super PK gives a targeted phosphorus and potassium boost, and GT Rootzone supports faster root development from transplant onward. For fast correction of visible deficiencies, GT Foliar RTU is a ready-to-use leaf spray, and GT Fulvic improves nutrient transport and uptake efficiency. Keep pH dialled in with GT pH Up & Down.

For coco-specific growers, GT Coco's elevated Cal-Mag removes the need to add a separate supplement every feed, since coco binds calcium more aggressively than other media. And for propagation, GT Foliage Focus and the Clonex propagation line round out the range for cuttings and early growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's GT Silica used for?
It strengthens plant cell walls and is best added early in the grow, before flowering stress sets in.

Is Clonex just for taking cuttings?
That's its main use, sealing a cut stem and supporting root development, though some growers also use it as a transplant aid.

Do I need GT Coco specifically if I'm growing in coco?
Not strictly, but it removes the need for a separate Cal-Mag supplement since the elevated calcium and magnesium is already built in.

Can I mix Growth Technology products with other nutrient brands?
Generally yes for additives like GT Silica or GT Fulvic, just keep your base nutrient consistent rather than mixing two different base lines.
