Do I need a heat mat for propagation?
Not always, a T5 light positioned close to the canopy often raises ambient temperature enough on its own without needing separate bottom heat.

When should I start feeding a new seedling or clone?
Wait until true leaves appear on seedlings, or until roots are visible through the base of the cube on clones, then start at a low EC and build up from there.

Why do my cuttings keep wilting or rotting?
Wilting usually means humidity's too low under the dome. Rot usually means the medium's too wet. Both come down to getting the moisture balance right early on.
