How It Works

Place a germinated seedling or rooted cutting into the LP-50 cup, supported by a small amount of rockwool, coco block, or inert media. Set the cup into the opening of your NFT channel so the rim sits flush with the channel surface. As the nutrient film flows through the channel below, roots grow downward through the net cup base and into the flow, accessing nutrients and oxygen continuously. The cup holds the plant stable at the surface while the root zone develops freely in the channel below, with no growing medium required once roots are established.
