What size inline fan do I need for my grow tent?
Match the fan's CFM or m3/h output to your tent volume with enough headroom for carbon filter resistance. A 120x90x200cm tent needs at least 200 to 400 m3/h. Our fan sizing guide covers every common tent size with the right fan and filter combination.

Do I need a carbon filter in my grow room?
If odour control matters to you, yes. A carbon filter paired with an inline fan scrubs air as it is extracted, removing odour before it leaves the tent. Size the filter to match your fan's airflow rating for best results, and replace the carbon every 12 to 18 months.

What controls humidity in a grow tent?
Airflow through your inline fan is the primary humidity controller. Increasing fan speed lowers humidity. A dehumidifier manages persistent high humidity that airflow alone cannot bring down. What is VPD and why does it matter?
VPD (Vapour Pressure Deficit) measures the drying power of the air around your plant. It determines how hard your plant works to move water and nutrients from roots to leaves. Too low and growth slows. Too high and plants stress. Managing temperature and humidity together keeps VPD in the right range across every growth stage.
