Always add nutrients to water, never add water to concentrated nutrients. Fill your reservoir with the target volume of fresh water first, then add your base nutrient, then Humic. Measure pH and EC after mixing and adjust to your target range, typically 5.8 to 6.2 pH and 1.4 to 2.2 EC for most crops.
