The cord is the 90° angled version rather than the straight one. It costs us a few dollars more, but a straight plug sticking up out of the top of the fixture eats height you do not have in a tent.

You Will Need a Hanging Kit

The EVO has suspension eyelets but no hanging hardware, and SANlight do not include any. The fixture weighs 5.1kg and has to hang above the canopy at an adjustable height, so this is not optional, you need some way to suspend it.

We have left it out of the price because most growers already own ratchet hangers from a previous setup, and charging you for a second pair to sit in a drawer is not much of a service. If you do not have any, our Sungrip Hangers are heavy-duty and rated well beyond 5.1kg. Add a pair at checkout and you are set.

Worth knowing when you compare prices. A cheaper listing elsewhere is usually the bare fixture, and the cord and dimmer add up quickly once you work out you need them.

EVO 4-120 or EVO 5-120, Which One Do You Need?

Both fixtures cover 120x120cm. The difference is intensity and power draw. The EVO 4-120 delivers 725 µmol/s PPF at 265W, producing approximately 600 to 700 µmol/m2/s at canopy level. The EVO 5-120 delivers 915 µmol/s at 340W and is optimised for maximum intensity applications including CO2-supplemented grows.

For most Australian hobby growers not running CO2, the EVO 4-120 is the more efficient choice. PPFD above 800 µmol/m2/s without CO2 supplementation produces diminishing returns on most crops and increases the heat management burden, which is already a challenge during Australian summers.
