CYCO Swell is a Platinum Series additive weighted toward phosphorus, used in the back half of flower to put size and density into flowers that have already formed. Swell or Potash Plus, and Why Not Both

These two get confused constantly, so here's the plain version. Both are PK additives. The difference is which way the ratio leans and when in flower you run them.

Potash Plus is 0-4-6. More potassium than phosphorus, and it runs in the first half of flower, roughly weeks 1 to 4, while the plant is still setting and building.

Swell is 1-5-3. More phosphorus than potassium, and it runs in the second half, roughly weeks 5 to 7, once flowers have set and the job shifts to filling them out.

CYCO's own label on both bottles says not to use them in conjunction with each other. That isn't a compatibility warning about the chemistry, it's a dosing one. Run both in the same reservoir and you're stacking two PK products on top of whatever PK is already in your base nutrient, which pushes phosphorus well past what the plant can use. Excess phosphorus competes with iron and zinc uptake, which is a common way growers end up chasing an iron deficiency in late flower that started as overfeeding.

Run them in sequence, not together. Potash Plus early, Swell late, and follow the feed chart for the changeover.
